Lakely 2026 is on the horizon, and we are delighted to announce poet and author G. Anthony as our keynote speaker.
G. Anthony first attended Lakefly in 2024, where, as he reflects, “I felt my nerves twist, but the energy of the conference quickly took hold of me.” Over the following year, he refined those early impressions into what would become Nobody’s Words: A Poetic Memoir.
His second book, Above and Within, is scheduled for release in 2026, and he is currently developing an anthology titled A State of Healing. This project seeks to gather and amplify the honest, unfiltered voices of Wisconsin—poets, essayists, letter-writers, visual artists, and storytellers—charting journeys from pain to possibility.
Through books, workshops, and talks across Wisconsin, G. Anthony has guided individuals of all ages in exploring writing as a tool for clarity, inner growth, and personal legacy. His calm presence and thoughtful voice make him a trusted guide for audiences seeking meaning, connection, and inspiration within their own life stories.
